Do you want more Joy?
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA Lic. #102919), I harness current research, psychological theory, and the power of a caring relationship to help you develop the life and relationships that you long for.
I’m grateful to have a career that allows me to work with people like you. I’m looking forward to understanding how you view the world, what makes you tick, and the things you most hope for. It is a privilege to lend my knowledge, experience, and presence toward your growth and healing.
My Education and Training
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2013. My trainee- and internship were in central Los Angeles at the Southern California Counseling Center, a invaluable community resource providing sliding-scale therapy to just about anyone. I worked for five years there with a broad diversity of clients there and was mentored in humanistic, psychodynamic, and Gestalt approaches to therapy.
Since moving to Orange County a year ago, I have been working in private practice, and being mentored in mindfulness, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, and integrative Christian approaches.
I identify as a Christian and value my personal relationship with the Triune God. For people of faith, I believe that strengthening a sense of connection and awareness with the Divine is the centerpiece of a life worth living. I offer support in methods of interactive prayer and meditation.
I maintain a receptive and respectful stance toward diverse belief systems and welcome conversations about how you pursue meaning in your life.
A Few Random Facts
I grew up in three different states (CA, MT and NY), I love the Andy Griffith Show, and I am quite possibly the world’s worst bike rider. 🙂
Live in Orange County, CA and interested in coaching, counseling, or therapy? I have offices in Fullerton and Costa Mesa. Let’s talk.
